The Geese

There is an awful lot of busy-ness on Jingle Bells the past few weeks.

In fact, a lot of eggy-ness

Dorothy's amazing nest- doesn't it look super cosy!

I had an interesting time taking these photos.  Miss Martha and Oliver have taken on responsibility as guards and were right beside me the entire time.

Miss Determined is on her very first nest.
Although to be honest,  the nest was Trudys before Miss Determined took it over.
I'll post more on Trudy later.

Miss Determined, on 6 beautiful eggs

SugarPlum's eggs should be the first to start hatching.

I think she's getting a little fed up now, something about her face tells me she's over the whole brooding thing and is busy counting the days until she can walk about stretching her legs and visiting the dam again.

With goslings in tow, of course!

Sugar Plum doin' her thing

There is still one more nest, but I'm not sure yet who will decide to sit on the eggs there.  It seems to be a communal nest shared by Pumpkin, Lady Plum and Violet.  I counted 12 eggs thismorning so it cant be too long before one of them decides to take ownership!
