Multi-Tasking the Compost Heap

I've made quite a dent in the compost pit recently.  But there is still plenty more to cart up to the vegetable beds.

Apparently Polly has other plans for it though.

Not a bad choice for a nest, when you think on it- natural warmth and ready supply of wriggly wormy food.

"Whhhhaaaaattttt?"

Unfortunately it's not the safest spot to have a nest, being outside the goose enclosure an' all.  But it took very little coaxing to have Miss Determined accept the egg into her established nest.  Which I'm thankful for as there is absolutely NO room left in the incubator!
